Esta reação incomum a medicação sistêmica é caracterizada por febre (geralmente no mesmo dia do início da erupção) e pústulas múltiplas, pequenas e não foliculares que surgem em um eritema inflamatório generalizado difuso centralizado na parte superior do tronco e em dobras. Pode ser difícil diferenciar da psoríase pustulosa generalizada aguda. Geralmente aparece dentro de 24 horas após a exposição ao medicamento. Antibióticos são provavelmente os precipitantes mais comuns, embora muitas drogas tenham sido implicadas. | |||||||||||||||

This uncommon reaction to systemic medication is characterised by fever (generally on the same day as the start of the rash) and multiple, small, non-follicular pustules that arise on a widespread inflammatory erythema centred on the upper trunk and body folds. It may be difficult to differentiate from acute generalised pustular psoriasis. It usually appears within 24 hours of drug exposure.
