Diverticulose do intestino delgado é uma condição caracterizada pela presença de múltiplas hérnias mucosas semelhantes a sacos chamadas divertículos através de pontos fracos na parede ou no revestimento do intestino delgado. Pequenos divertículos do intestino delgado são muito menos comuns do que os divertículos do cólon. A maioria das pessoas com diverticulose não apresenta desconforto ou sintomas. No entanto, algumas pessoas podem sentir dor ou desconforto no abdômen, inchaço e sangramento.

Diverticulosis of small intestine is a condition characterised by the presence of multiple sack-like mucosal herniations called diverticula through weak points in the wall or lining of the small intestine. Small intestinal diverticula are far less common than colonic diverticula. Most people with diverticulosis do not have any discomfort or symptoms. However, some people may experience pain or discomfort in the abdomen, bloating, and bleeding.
