Hemosiderose pulmonar secundária é uma doença respiratória decorrente da deposição de macrófagos carregados de hemossiderina nos pulmões como resultado de hemorragias alveolares repetidas secundárias a outra doença, especialmente transtornos imunitários (ou seja, síndrome de Heiner, doenças autoimunes), transtornos trombóticos e transtornos cardiovasculares como a estenose mitral. Manifesta-se como uma tríade de hemoptise, anemia e infiltrados parenquimatosos difusos na radiografia do tórax. | |||||||||||||||
