+Anemia hemolítica autoimune (AHAI) é um transtorno autoimune no qual vários tipos de auto-anticorpos são direcionados contra o glóbulo vermelho levando a diminuição da sobrevida e resultando na anemia hemolítica. AHAI pode ser primária (idiopática), secundária a uma infecção ou associada a doenças como linfomas de células B , outras doenças autoimunes orgão especifica ou sistêmicas, doença de Hodgkin, hepatite ou imunodeficiências primárias, ou, no caso de AHAI droga induzida, causada por uma reação a drogas.

Autoimmune haemolytic anaemia (AIHA) is an autoimmune disorder in which various types of auto-antibodies are directed against red blood cells causing their survival to be shortened and resulting in haemolytic anaemia. AIHA can be primary (idiopathic), secondary to infection or associated with diseases such as B-cell lymphomas, other systemic or organ-specific autoimmune diseases, Hodgkin's disease, hepatitis or primary immunodeficiencies, or, in the case of drug-induced AIHA, caused by a reaction to drugs.
