Doença causada por determinantes surgindo após o nascimento. Esta doença é caracterizada por níveis diminuídos de riboflavina (vitamina B2) levando a níveis diminuídos de glóbulos vermelhos no organismo. Esta doença pode manifestar com fadiga, fraqueza muscular, perda de apetite, perda de peso, diarréia, náusea, batimentos cardíacos rápidos e dormência nas extremidades. Confirmação é pela identificação de níveis diminuídos de riboflavina e contagem diminuída de glóbulos vermelhos numa amostra de sangue. | |||||||||||||||
