Nevo melanocítico com displasia melanocítica grave é um diagnóstico histopatológico baseado na presença de atipia citológica grave, definida como melanócitos aumentados, fusiformes e epitelioides, com núcleos hipercromáticos (tipicamente pelo menos duas vezes o tamanho daqueles dos queratinócitos basais) e nucléolos distintos. Esses nevos tendem a ter tamanho e pigmentação irregulares, e a terem sido extirpados devido à preocupação de que possam representar um melanoma inicial. | |||||||||||||||
