Neoplasias malignas de testículo são neoplasias primárias que afetam o testículo. Mais de 90% dos tumores testiculares são de origem germinativa._x000D_ Aproximadamente 50% dos tumores de células germinativas são seminomas, e a grande maioria dos restantes são formas puras de outros subtipos ou tumores de células germinativas mistos, geralmente chamados de "tumores de células germinativas não seminomatosos" (NSGCT). Seminomas e NSGCT apresentam diferenças quanto ao comportamento biológico, e sua classificação precisa tem um profundo impacto no tratamento do paciente._x000D_ As demais neoplasias malignas do testículo incluem tumores mesenquimais, hematolinfoides ou, esporadicamente, outros subtipos histológicos; no entanto, são classificados nas categorias correspondentes. | |||||||||||||||
