Neoplasia maligna do fígado que ocorre quase exclusivamente em bebês, embora tenham sido relatados casos isolados em crianças maiores e adultos. Grosseiramente, o hepatoblastoma é sólido, bem circunscrito e mais frequentemente solitário do que múltiplo. Microscopicamente, a maioria dos tumores é composta exclusivamente por elementos hepatocíticos imaturos.
