Basidiobolomicose é caracterizada por um edema subcutâneo de propagação lenta, indolor, sem cacifo e sem outros sinais clínicos óbvios. Pode ser único ou podem existir múltiplas lesões satélites. As massas em forma de disco têm uma consistência dura uniforme. Geralmente envolve os membros ou as áreas de cintura-membro, e a infecção é mais freqüentemente observada em crianças.

Basidiobolomycosis is characterised by a slowly spreading, painless, non-pitting subcutaneous swelling without other obvious clinical signs. It may be single, or there may be multiple satellite lesions. The disc-shaped masses have a uniform hard consistency. It usually involves the limbs or limb-girdle areas and the infection is most often seen in children.
