Infecção dermatófita das pregas inguinocrurais e genitália externa adjacente (tinea cruris). Apresenta-se como eritema e inflamação da pele afetada com uma borda escamosa em avanço. É tipicamente pruriginosa e afeta homens adultos muito mais comumente do que mulheres ou crianças. A infecção por dermatófito das fendas dos dedos do pé comumente coexiste.
