Doença do sistema pulmonar, causada por uma infecção pelo fungo Blastomyces dermatitidis. Esta doença é caracterizada por febre, calafrios, tosse, mialgia, artralgia ou dor torácica. Essa doença pode se apresentar com sintomas agudos ou crônicos. A transmissão ocorre por inalação de esporos de fungos. A confirmação é feita pela identificação de Blastomyces dermatitidis na urina, líquido cefalorraquidiano ou amostra de sangue. | |||||||||||||||
