Processo neoplásico que surge da unidade ductal lobular terminal do parênquima mamário. Geralmente é solitário e confinado a uma única unidade lobular. É caracterizado pela presença de uma proliferação epitelial monomórfica em um padrão de crescimento cribriforme, micropapilar ou sólido. Características arquitetônicas focais do carcinoma ductal in situ de baixo grau estão presentes. Existe aumento de risco para o desenvolvimento de carcinoma invasivo da mama. | |||||||||||||||

A neoplastic process that arises from the terminal ductal lobular unit of the breast parenchyma. It is usually solitary and confined to a single lobular unit. It is characterised by the presence of a monomorphic epithelial proliferation in a cribriform, micropapillary, or solid growth pattern. Focal architectural features of low grade ductal carcinoma in situ are present. There is an increased risk for development of invasive breast carcinoma. | |||||||||||||||
