Inflamação da medula espinal em associação com sarcoidose que pode ser temporalmente aguda, subaguda ou crônica e anatomicamente parcial ou completa. Manifestações clínicas incluem paraplegia, tetraplegia, perda sensitiva correspondente ao nível da medula espinal envolvida e disfunção esfincteriana. Outras manifestações neurológicas ou sistêmicas da sarcoidose podem estar presentes. O diagnóstico pode ser auxiliado por exames de imagem da medula espinal, análise do líquido cefalorraquidiano, teste sérico de ECA, exames de imagem do tórax e histologia. | |||||||||||||||
