Carcinoma do plexo coroide é um tipo raro e altamente agressivo de tumor maligno do plexo coroide que ocorre quase exclusivamente em crianças, apresentando-se com obstrução do líquido cefalorraquidiano nos ventrículos laterais (mais comum), quarto e terceiro ventrículos ou em ventrículos múltiplos, levando a hidrocefalia e aumento da pressão intracraniana e manifestando-se com náuseas, vômitos, movimentos oculares anormais, comprometimento da marcha, convulsões e aumento do perímetro cefálico. | |||||||||||||||
