+Doença de Creutzfeldt-Jakob associada a enxerto dural (DCJd) que se desenvolve em pacientes transplantados com dura de cadáver humano que tinha o príon "infeccioso". Foi descrita pela primeira vez em 1972 e mais tarde foi relatada principalmente no Japão. Após os tratamentos químicos especiais da dura-máter e a proibição do uso da dura-máter de cadáveres em qualquer circunstância, a ocorrência de dCJD diminuiu drasticamente nos anos subsequentes.
