Doença causada por determinantes surgindo após o nascimento, durante o período pré-natal ou fatores geneticamente herdados levando a hemólise prematura dos glóbulos vermelhos. Esta doença é caracterizada pelos níveis diminuídos de células vermelhas devido à destruição anormal das células. Esta doença pode se manifestar com palidez, fadiga e falta de ar. A confirmação é feita pela identificação de contagem diminuída dos glóbulos vermelhos numa amostra de sangue. | |||||||||||||||

A disease caused by determinants arising after birth, during the antenatal period or genetically inherited factors leading to premature haemolysis of red blood cells. This disease is characterised by low levels of red blood cells in the body due to abnormal breakdown of the cells. This disease may present with pallor, fatigue, or shortness of breath. Confirmation is by identification of low red blood cell count in a blood sample. | |||||||||||||||
