+Vulvite de células plasmáticas (vulvite de Zoon) é uma condição inflamatória crônica benigna rara da vulva de etiologia desconhecida que se apresenta com sintomas de prurido, queimação, dispareunia e disúria, tipicamente em mulheres pós-menopáusicas. Histologicamente é caracterizada por infiltração dérmica com células plasmáticas, dilatação dos vasos e deposição de hemossiderina. Seu homólogo em homens é a balanite de células plasmáticas.

Histologically it is characterised by dermal infiltration with plasma cells, vessel dilatation, and haemosiderin deposition. Its homologue in men is plasma cell balanitis.

Plasma cell vulvitis (Zoon vulvitis) is a rare benign chronic inflammatory condition of the vulva of unknown aetiology that presents with symptoms of pruritus, burning, dyspareunia, and dysuria, typically in postmenopausal women. Histologically it is characterised by dermal infiltration with plasma cells, vessel dilatation, and haemosiderin deposition. Its homologue in men is plasma cell balanitis.
