+Lissencefalia tipo 2, também chamada de lissencefalia de paralelepípedo ou displasia de paralelepípedo, é um tipo de lissencefalia caracterizada por um aspecto irregular ou granular da superfície do cérebro, associado a sulcos rasos (daí o aspecto de uma lissencefalia), mielinização anormal da substância branca, que pode tem uma aparência cística nas proximidades do córtex, ventrículos aumentados, hipoplasia do tronco encefálico, hipoplasia cerebelar especialmente do vermis.
