Anafilaxia atribuível a uma droga. Quando grave, pode ser fatal. Esta reação sistêmica geralmente se desenvolve dentro de minutos a horas após a administração da droga, é frequentemente grave e pode ser fatal. Os medicamentos que mais frequentemente causam anafilaxia são antibióticos, principalmente penicilinas. Clinicamente, pode haver tontura ou desmaio premonitório, formigamento na pele e eritema, seguidos de urticária, angioedema, broncoespasmo, dor abdominal e colapso vasomotor.

Anaphylaxis attributable to a drug. When severe it may be fatal. This systemic reaction usually develops within minutes to hours of administration of the drug, is often severe and may be fatal. The most frequent drugs causing anaphylaxis are antibiotics, particularly penicillins. Clinically there may be premonitory dizziness or faintness, skin tingling and erythema, followed by urticaria, angio-oedema, bronchospasm, abdominal pain and vasomotor collapse.
