+Doença causada por falha do cérebro em se desenvolver corretamente durante o período pré-natal. Esta condição é caracterizada por um rápido aumento do perímetro cefálico ou um tamanho excessivamente grande da cabeça devido ao acúmulo excessivo de líquido cefalorraquidiano no cérebro. Essa condição também pode se manifestar com vômitos, sonolência, irritabilidade, desvio dos olhos para baixo ou convulsões. A confirmação é feita através da observação de aumento do líquido cefalorraquidiano dentro dos ventrículos cerebrais por exame de imagem.

This condition is characterised by a rapid increase in head circumference or an unusually large head size due to excessive accumulation of cerebrospinal fluid in the brain. This condition may also present with vomiting, sleepiness, irritability, downward deviation of the eyes, or seizures. Confirmation is through observation of cerebrospinal fluid within cerebral ventricles by imaging.
