Dermatite perianal do recém-nascido se apresenta com eritema perianal durante a primeira semana de vida, que nas formas mais graves pode evoluir para edema e erosão superficial da pele perianal. Embora geralmente ocorra de forma isolada, a dermatite perianal às vezes pode estar associada à dermatite irritativa primária da fralda. É mais comum em recém-nascidos que recebem formulações de leite de vaca do que em recém-nascidos amamentados; presume-se que represente uma irritação em resposta aos constituintes fecais. | |||||||||||||||
