A erupção polimorfa à luz é uma reação cutânea comum, inflamatória anormal, de início tardio, à luz solar ou outra fonte de radiação ultravioleta. Tipicamente se manifesta como uma erupção de pápulas e vesículas que afetam os locais da pele normalmente protegidos do sol após a exposição à luz solar. A tolerância é comumente observada após a exposição repetida à luz solar ou aos raios UV.

Polymorphic light eruption is a common delayed‐onset abnormal inflammatory cutaneous reaction to sunlight or other source of ultraviolet radiation. It typically manifests as an eruption of papules and vesicles affecting normally sun-protected skin sites following exposure to sunlight. Tolerance is commonly seen after repeated sunlight or UV exposure.
