Na angiite primária do sistema nervoso central, a vasculite está limitada ao sistema nervoso central. É uma doença muito rara, e sua manifestação pode ser imitada por muitas outras doenças. Pacientes com angeíte primária comumente apresentam cefaleia, estado mental alterado de forma intermitente e eventos semelhantes a ataques isquêmicos transitórios. Primary angiitis of the central nervous system is a very rare disease, and its manifestation can be mimicked by many other diseases. Patients with primary angiitis commonly show headache, waxing and waning altered mental status, and transient ischemic attack-like events.
