+Doença autoimune da orelha interna é uma síndrome clínica de perda auditiva neurossensorial (PANS) bilateral >30dB em uma ou mais frequências que progride ao longo de um período de 3-90 dias. A progressão de PANS >15dB em uma frequência ou >10dB em duas frequências em pelo menos uma orelha deve ser demonstrada. Sintomas vestibulares podem estar presentes em 50% dos pacientes e doença autoimune sistêmica coexiste em 30% dos pacientes.

Progression of SNLH >15dB at one frequency or >10dB in two frequencies in at least one ear should be demonstrated. Vestibular symptoms may be present in 50% of patients and systemic autoimmune disease (SAD) coexists in 30% of patients.
