Entre os indivíduos que estão se recuperando de anorexia nervosa e cujo peso corporal é superior a 18,5 kg/m² para adultos ou acima do 5º percentil do IMC para idade para crianças e adolescentes, o diagnóstico deve ser mantido até que uma recuperação completa e duradoura seja alcançada, conforme indicado pela manutenção de um peso saudável e a cessação de comportamentos que visam a redução do peso corporal, independentemente da oferta de tratamento (p. ex., por pelo menos 1 ano após a suspensão do tratamento intensivo). | |||||||||||||||
