Leucemia rara, altamente agressiva, associada ao vírus Epstein-Barr, também conhecida como leucemia/linfoma agressivo de células NK; pode representar a contraparte leucêmica dos linfomas de células NK/T extranodais do tipo nasal. Afeta primariamente adolescentes e adultos jovens. É caracterizada pela proliferação sistêmica de células NK em sangue periférico, medula óssea, fígado e baço.
