Carcinoma primário da glândula tireoide composto por células indiferenciadas. As células malignas mostram evidências de diferenciação epitelial por meio do estudo imuno-histoquímico ou da análise feita por microscopia eletrônica. Microscopicamente, na maioria dos casos há uma mistura de células fusiformes, epitelioides e gigantes. A grande maioria dos pacientes apresenta uma massa cervical que aumenta rapidamente. The malignant cells demonstrate evidence of epithelial differentiation, either by immunohistochemistry or electron microscopic studies. Microscopically, in the majority of cases there is a mixture of spindle, epithelioid, and giant cells. The vast majority of the patients present with a rapidly enlarging neck mass. A primary carcinoma of the thyroid gland composed of undifferentiated cells. The malignant cells demonstrate evidence of epithelial differentiation, either by immunohistochemistry or electron microscopic studies.
