Carcinoma de células escamosas (CEC) originando-se do canal anal até a junção com a margem anal (perianal, pele com pelos). O papilomavírus humano é detectado na maioria dos casos. Homens homossexuais soropositivos têm um risco aumentado de desenvolver carcinoma anal de células escamosas em comparação com a população masculina em geral. O prognóstico é geralmente melhor para o CEC da margem anal do que para o CEC do canal anal. Os primeiros são classificados com tumores de pele. | |||||||||||||||
