+Este é o tipo mais comum de esporotricose e ocorre após a implantação de esporos Sporothrix schenckii em uma ferida cutânea, mais comumente na extremidade superior. Além de um nódulo ou pústula localizados, uma cadeia de nódulos se desenvolve ao longo da drenagem dos linfáticos. Em casos de longa data, linfonodos regionais podem ser comprometidos.
