Doença causada por uma infecção pelo vírus da doença da floresta Kyasanur. Esta doença comumente se apresenta com febre, calafrios, dor de cabeça, dor muscular e vômitos, ou sintomas gastrointestinais e sangramento. Essa doença também pode se manifestar com manifestações neurológicas, como dor de cabeça intensa, distúrbios mentais, tremores ou déficits de visão. A transmissão ocorre pela picada de um carrapato infectado ou pelo contato direto com um animal infectado. A confirmação é feita pela identificação do vírus da doença da floresta Kyasanur em uma amostra de soro. | |||||||||||||||

Transmission is through the bite of an infected tick or by direct contact with an infected animal.
